One player who we haven't heard from in awhile is Borussia Monchengladbach's start midfielder Florian Neuhaus.
Neuhaus is only 24-years-old and it's not only Liverpool who have shown a solid interest in the German midfielder.
Bayern Munich were heavily tipped to sign him but Neuhaus decided to explore other options.
He was heavily linked with a move to Anfield earlier in the transfer window but the Reds never acted on it and his reported release clause expired.
However, just because his release clause expired, doesn't mean Liverpool aren't going to sign him.
Gladbach are going to be like every other club this season and will be struggling financially, so if the right offer comes in then they will surely be forced to accept it.
Liverpool still need a Gini Wijnaldum replacement and Neuhaus would be an amazing option for Jurgen Klopp.
He is defensively solid like the Dutchman, he is also very creative and can score goals from midfield, something Liverpool desperately need.
Despite links not being around for a few weeks, a recent claim by the reliable Florian Plettenberg would suggest the Reds are still interested.
Florian said that Jurgen Klopp have recently reaffirmed Liverpool's interest in Florian Neuhaus.
However, if Liverpool wish to sign the 24-year-old this summer then they must make room in their squad for him.
According to the report, Florian claims that it's likely that he stays at Gladbach this summer and he expects Liverpool and Bayern Munich to come back in next season for his signature.
