In late May, Liverpool announced the signing of RB Leipzig's Ibrahima Konate for £36million.

Jurgen Klopp's team could also be interested in one of Konate's France U21's teammate this summer.

Boubacar Kamara is another one of the wonder kids that France just seem to be producing non stop recently.

He is yet to break into the first team but he is a regular in the talented France U21's with Liverpool's Konate.

Liverpool have recently been linked with a move for the 21-year-old whose contract expires with French side Marseille in 2022.

If The Olympians want to make some money on the young man then they will have to reluctantly sell him this summer for a reduced price, especially since it's looking more unlikely everyday that Kamara is going to extend his stay in France.

Liverpool aren't the only side interested in the talented 21-year-old though.

According to The Gazzetta dello Sporte (Via Le Phoceen), AC Milan have already held talks with the French side to try and complete a signing for Kamara.

Marseille have reportedly lowered their price for Kamara to €25million. However, this seems to be to much for AC Milan.

Unfortunately if more offers for the 21-year-old don't come in then they risk losing their star midfielder for free next summer.

Kamara, who is a adored by Les Phocéens fans, played 35 games in Ligue 1 last season and has been their rock since breaking into the first team from the academy in the 2018/19 season.

Top European clubs will be heavily scouting Kamara and sooner or later Marseille will have to succumb to pressure and let their youth star leave.

Kamara is definitely one for the future but he also has the current ability to play first team football.

If Liverpool was to sign him, he'd be the perfect Fabinho back-up.

Like his Brazilian counterpart, he can also play centre-back, something that Jurgen Klopp likes in his midfielders.
