Liverpool are set to have a very busy summer with the club set for a squad overhaul. With several players set for Anfield exits, Jurgen Klopp and Michael Edwards will look to use the funds to replace the club's dead wood with improved squad depth and players to push the first team.
Spanish outlet Marca have said that alongside Georginio Wijnaldum, Memphis Depay's expiring contract is also attracting a lot of interest from across Europe. The report goes on to say that Liverpool are one of three clubs that are vying for his services this summer.
The Lyon man, who is currently on international duty with Netherlands, is having an impressive season. Depay has 31 total appearances this season with 15 goals and an additional nine assists for the French giants.
Although the report says that Liverpool are interested in Depay, it also lists Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea as potential suitors for the former Manchester United man.
In his stint in the Premier League, he failed to live up to the hype surrounding him. However, since leaving Manchester United, Depay has scored 64 total goals and knotched 44 assists in four seasons with Lyon.
With the days until the summer transfer window slowly ticking away, look for Jurgen Klopp's interest in Memphis Depay to heat up.
