Divock Origi has written his name in Liverpool's history since joining the Merseyside giants. From his 96th minute winner against Everton to his Champions League final winning goal against Tottenham in 2018, he has had his fair share of memorable moments in a Liverpool shirt.
For the last season, however, he hasn't featured much and has fallen out of favour with Jurgen Klopp.
Origi has only managed to play 17 games in all competitions this season and only scoring once in that period. A shadow of his former self for Liverpool.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, it could be the end of the Belgians Liverpool career this summer. On Romano's Here We Go Podcast, he said, “Divock Origi is ready to leave Liverpool. There are offers.”
Recently, Origi has been linked to Turkish side Fenerbahce, but nothing solid has came out of that. Wolves were also linked with him in previous transfer windows but it's unsure if they are still interested after parting ways with manager Nuno Espírito Santo.
Divock Origi signed a long-term contract with Liverpool in the summer of 2019 after winning the Champions League. It's until 2024 so if Liverpool don't want to sell him he is tied down for the foreseeable future.
However, Origi will be looking for regular football in the coming seasons after not being included in Belgium's EURO 2020 squad.
Unfortunately he is not going to get that at Liverpool anymore, especially with the emergence of Diogo Jota.
With it looking like he is going to leave this summer, no matter who he joins he has written his name in Liverpool's history books and has created unforgettable memories for millions of Liverpool fans around the world. So wherever he ends up, thank you for the memories Divock Origi.
