Liverpool are looking to bring in some attacking options this summer with it widely reported that Divock Origi is on his way out of Anfield.
Xherdan Shaqiri's future is also posing a lot of question marks with him falling out of favour with Jurgen Klopp in recent seasons. If both depart, it will leave a massive gap in Liverpool's attacking options on the bench so they will surely have to bring someone in.
That's where Joaquin Correa enters the equation. The Argentine is reported to be on the move with fellow Premier League clubs Everton and West Ham apparently interested in the Lazio attacker.
According to Italy24News, Everton and West Ham have shown interest in the player and also Liverpool have been attracted to the player.
The report claims that a €30 million bid has been submitted to Lazio but they did not state which club has offered that. Lazio are said to be considering the offer and are open to negotiate for the player.
In another report from Il Messaggero, they claim that Jurgen Klopp is very keen to bring the 26-year-old to Anfield this summer.
Italian outlet Italy24News believe that former Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri is Lazio bound and as soon as he takes over he wants five new signings.
Lazio are looking to sell players to gather funds for Sarri and Correa could be one of the players on their way out.
Correa has played 38 games for Lazio this season, scoring 11 times and grabbing six assists.
If he does join it will be another welcome addition to this Liverpool squad as in recent seasons we have really lacked goals coming off the bench.
Correa can play on the wing and upfront so he suits Liverpool's mold of a versatile attacker we love to sign.
It does look like we will face competition if we were interested but by the looks of the other teams interested, Liverpool will be the only ones able to offer him Champions League football.
