Liverpool's Divock Origi has long been linked with a move away from Anfield. However, it seems that this summer will finally see the Belgian striker move on to a different club.
Origi has been linked with Inter Milan, Real Sociedad, Borussia Dortmund and Leeds United. With set to leave the club, Jurgen Klopp will need striking reinforcements.
Because of this, Liverpool have been linked with red hot striker Donyell Malen. Malen, who currently plays for Dutch side PSV Eindhoven, is said to be high on Liverpool's list of potential summer signings.
Italian outlet Gazzetta have said that Liverpool's interest has AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund fearful as it is believed that the Merseyside giants will financially go all in for the young striker.
The 22 year-old striker has featured an impressive 39 times this season for PSV, scoring 23 goals and adding an additional eight assists. Malen averages a goal contribution every 97 minutes compared to Divock Origi's 536 minutes per goal contribution and Roberto Firmino's 199 minutes per goal contribution.
Now, the Eredivisie is a lesser competition than the Premier League, but the young striker averages a goal or assist every 112 minutes in European competition.
Previous reports claim that Liverpool 'like' the forward and that they have been keeping a very close eye on his performances so far this season. With the transfer window just months away, Donyell Malen should be a name for Liverpool supporters to remember.
