The Reds will look to part ways with Origi to free up some funds as they look to strengthen their squad this summer.
Origi signed for Liverpool in the summer of 2014 for £10 million from French side Lille. The forward arrived as a 19-year-old and went straight back on loan to Lille.
Divock Origi has fallen down the pecking order this season.
The Belgian has failed to make an impact with only 17 appearances this season in all competitions, with only two starts in the league.
There have been many highs and lows of Origi’s career at Liverpool. He became an important part of Jurgen Klopp’s side in the 2015/16 season, scoring important goals as Liverpool looked to succeed in the Europa League.
Sadly for him, his season was curtailed after an awful challenge from former Everton player Funes Mori in the Merseyside derby.
It was only two years ago that the striker was on the last year of his contract, but after Origi became a hero for
The Reds after scoring in the semi-final of the Champions League against Barcelona and in the final against Spurs to win them the European Cup, the forward got offered a long-term deal to keep him at the club.
Despite this, Origi has failed to kick on in his Liverpool career since those heroics. He had a great chance after this season to push on and challenge the fabled front three of Liverpool (Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane) but failed to succeed.
A move in the summer will not only work well for Liverpool but also should also be good for Origi’s footballing career as he will look to reignite his career at another club
