Liverpool have been linked with half of Europe ahead of the summer transfer window. Some links, however, are stronger than others. Those include Ibrahima Konate, Patson Daka, Memphis Depay and now Jadon Sancho.
It has been reported that Liverpool are very interested in Jadon Sancho and could potentially make a summer bid for him. However, the Reds brass of Michael Edwards and Jurgen Klopp are said to be watching Borussia Dortmund's league position to see if they qualify for the UEFA Champions League before making a bid.
Caught Offside reporter Leah Smith, who was the first to report on the Ibrahima Konate transfer, has now claimed that Liverpool are keeping tabs on Sancho and Borussia Dortmund.
In a Tweet, the reporter said:
"Jadon Sancho is wanted by more clubs this summer, than he was last. Manchester United FC remain keen, but now know they face competition from other clubs, including Liverpool Football Club. A lot of eyes are watching and waiting to see if BvB qualify for Champions League"
Now, you might be thinking that if Sancho wants to leave Dortmund because they are not in the Champions League, why would he want to join Liverpool? Two words for you -- Jurgen Klopp.
Jurgen Klopp has been a huge factor in getting players to sign for Liverpool, regardless of the club's standing and that will be the same case this summer if Liverpool fail to qualify for the Champions League.
Jadon Sancho has been a long term target for both Manchester United and Liverpool FC. Will this summer see him move back to the Premier League?
