Kylian Mbappe to Liverpool rumours won't seem to go away. Ever since him and Klopp embraced each other when PSG and Liverpool played in the Champions League, fans have been excited at the prospect of Mbappe joining the Reds'.
However it seems like his current club, Paris Saint-Germain, have no plans to sell the French superstar anytime soon.
In a recent interview with L'Equipe, PSG President Nasser Al Khelaifi had this to say about the possibility of Mbappe ever leaving the French side.
"I will be very clear: Kylian Mbappé is going to stay at PSG.
"We will never sell him, and he will never leave for free.
"All I can say is that things are going well (with Mbappe)
"I hope we can reach an agreement. This is Paris, this is his country.
"He has a mission, not only to be a footballer, but to promote Ligue 1, his country and its capital."
PSG recently tied their Brazilian superstar Neymar down to a new contract until 2025 and Al Khelaifi had this to say about the negations.
"It was not difficult to reach an agreement with Neymar. It only took so long because of the health crisis. I never had doubts."
Most Liverpool fans are aware that Mbappe to Liverpool is a pipe dream but that still doesn't mean it's impossible.
The PSG president seems confident about tying the French star down to a new contract but he'll have to move fast with Mbappe's contract set to expire at the end of next season.
If Mbappe does decide to move, hopefully he will consider Jurgen Klopp's side as the German manager has openly showed love to Kylian and how much he rates the youngster.
