Release clause revealed for Liverpool target

Amidst interest from Liverpool and Leeds United, the Sevilla star's release clause has been revealed. Is he worth it?

Liverpool have been rumoured with an incredible move for Red Bull Leipzig's Ibrahima Konate. The lead up to the summer transfer window has been filled with rumorus of defensive reinforcements, but the Reds have been linked with plenty of attackers. 

Amidst interest from both Leeds United and Liverpool, the release clause of Sevilla's Lucas Ocampos has been revealed. 

Although Ocampos has three years left on his contract, but he has a release clause that may peak the interest of Jurgen Klopp. Goal reported that the Argentine winger's release clause is just £51 million ($71 million). 

However, Lucas Ocampos said that he is very happy with Sevilla. 

When speaking to Canal Sur Radio, Ocampos said, "I'm focusing on the present and I don't look further ahead of the things that I cannot control."

The former Marseille player has scored seven goals and added an additional four assists in 36 total appearances this season. This is building on a very impressive debut season with Sevilla where he scored 17 goals. 

"I'm very happy here and I'm not thinking of playing anywhere else than here."

"I'm very grateful to the club because they gave me confidence and allowed me to grow in certain facets of my game, which other clubs had not."
