The 22-year-old fits Liverpool's mould perfectly. He is fast, a good finisher and can play across all the front three positions.

Daka had an amazing season with Austrian club RB Salzburg, scoring 27 goals in 28 League appearances, he also grabbed seven assists too.

Michael Edwards is known to have a great relationship with the Red Bull group having signed Takumi Minamino and Naby Keita from the organisations in recent years.

With that good relationship, it means if Liverpool really want Daka badly enough then they could easily make a deal with Salzburg but it also means if the Red Bull group want to keep him in their organisation they could transfer him to RB Leipzig so he can show his skill against better sides.

Another club who is said to be interest in the Zambian is Jose Mourinho's new club, A.S. Roma.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Daka is on the wish list of Italian side Roma too.

Daka has openly said he was a Liverpool fan in 2019 when Salzburg played at Anfield, the 22-year-old had this to say to"When I was a kid, in my family we had a kind of competition that everybody has to support a famous football team, my father was a Chelsea fan, my sister supported Arsenal, so I chose Liverpool.

"With my first step on the grass of Anfield, a dream will come true," said Daka. "I have seen so many matches on TV and I have heard so many stories about it."

Hopefully him being a Liverpool fan for his whole life will mean when it comes to a shootout against other clubs, Daka will choose Liverpool if they have an offer on the table.
