Liverpool are known to have a great relationship with the Red Bull Group.

Michael Edwards has signed multiple players from them and is said to be in contact with their hierarchy all the time.

The relationship was solidified even more this season with Liverpool signing RB Leipzig's Ibrahima Konate for £36million, but Liverpool might be able to sign another player from the German side this summer if they wish.

In a recent report from The Athletic, they claim that Marcel Sabitzer might be the next player to depart from Leipzig.

The report says that there is no indication of the Austrian signing a new contract with the club, which is set to expire in 2022 and because of that the German side might look to cash in.

Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur were previously linked with the midfielder, but nothing ever came from it.

The report also claims that the 27-year-old may be available for the slender price of £15million.

A bargain for a player of Sabitzer's quality.

Sabitzer had another great season in the Bundesliga. He played 27 league games, scoring eight goals and getting four assists.

At the moment there is no indication that Liverpool are interested in the midfielder but with Jurgen Klopp's side in the market for a top midfielder after losing Georginio Wijnaldum, Sabitzer could be a viable replacement for him.

However, it's unlikely that anything will happen fast as Sabitzer is currently at the EUROs with Austria and will most likely only discuss his future after the competition.
