Manchester City have received a major injury boost on Monday, with Sergio Agüero returning to full first-team training with the rest of Pep Guardiola's squad.
The club have released photos from training in the aftermath of City's emphatic 4-1 win away at Liverpool on Sunday afternoon. In the collection of images, the club's all-time leading scorer is pictured training with the rest of the squad.
Pep Guardiola had previously said that the striker needed 'a few weeks' before he can return to the squad, but there is now a possibility that he could be back ahead of schedule.
With Swansea awaiting in the FA Cup fifth round on the horizon, it may act as the perfect game to ease the Argentine back into a rhythm.
Whether he will be available remains to be seen, but we may have a clearer picture when Pep Guardiola faces the media before the game. Nevertheless, Manchester City fans will be happy to see their key man back in training.
The Argentine forward has struggled with a whole host of injury problems since his serious knee ligament injury sustained towards the back end of last season, and has been in and out of the squad for a number of months now.
There is also a feeling that should Aguero put together a run of form, he could earn a contract extension, with the club remaining hesitant on handing him a new deal.
