Leeds United manager has spent some time discussing the style of Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, whom he faces in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The Argentine coach is known to be a huge admirer of the work of Guardiola, while Manchester City's Catalan boss has admitted that the feeling is mutual between the pair.
This was evident when Bielsa spoke during a press conference ahead of the game on Saturday, where Leeds United will travel to the Etihad Stadium - with Manchester City coming into the game off the back of a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Borussia Dortmund during the week.
Speaking on Guardiola and his Manchester City side, Bielsa said, "His team creates so many surprising attacks. This is supported by the quality of his players, but there is a method which asks for this, which stimulates what they do, and this is the difficult thing to detect."
"From the outside, it looks as though the manager is doing something magical. From the outside, it's impossible to detect how he manages. But I know there's a method that unites their individualities with what he proposes", he continued.
Bielsa admitted that the style of football produces so many 'surprises' and that it can ultimately create 'boredom' - although that's a slight contradiction, surely? The Leeds boss said, "This produces a football that is full of surprises. To say the opposite, when you know exactly what's going to happen, eventually what it causes is boredom."
Manchester City will head into this game looking to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table once again, albeit possibly only temporarily, to 17 points. Leeds United on the other hand have the opportunity to jump into the top-half of the league table, should they manage a shock victory over Guardiola's side this weekend.
