Scouts from Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are attending the Serie A clash between Brescia and Fiorentina to monitor the performance of 19-year-old midfielder Sandro Tonali, according to Italian journalist Nicolò Schira.
Sandro Tonali has been the centre of attention for many European giants in recent weeks, following his meteoric rise for Brescia this season. Manchester City and PSG are just two of several clubs monitoring the progress of the teenager, who is seen as the next big star to come to fruition in Italian football.
The latest update on the reported interest in the 19-year-old comes from Italian journalist Nicolò Schira, who claims scouts from the Premier League and Ligue 1 champions are in attendance at Brescia's home game against Fiorentina.
Schira also suggests that three major sides in Italian football are also showing interest in the teenager: Inter Milan, AC Milan and Juventus.
The last update on the future of Tonali, as relayed by Sport Witness, suggested that despite interest from both Manchester City and Chelsea in England, the youngster would prefer to remain in Italy, with Fiorentina 'working hard' behind the scenes to snap up his services. Brescia owner Massimo Cellino is said to be 'aiming high' with his valuation of the midfielder, and will demand at least €40 million from his potential suitors.
