Manchester City goalkeeper Arijanet Muric was ‘massively drunk’ on the first night the Kosovo national team met up this week, according to report from Blick Sport.

The 22 year-old, who is currently on loan at Dutch side Willem II, reportedly ‘appeared dazed’ for training afterwards. As a result, Muric has been removed from the squad by the Kosovo FA before their upcoming matches against Lithuania and Sweden.

To throw a bizarre situation into an already bizarre situation, the translated report by Sport Witness claims that Muric had a ‘quarrel’ with fellow player Edon Zhegrova. The goalkeeper has since denied the reports in a now-deleted Instagram post.

Muric appears to be a repeat offender when it comes to team rules - just this October he was pictured with a woman at the team’s hotel, which was a breach of the team’s Coronavirus protocols.

Due to the repetitive nature of his offences, Blick have labelled Muric as a ‘scandal on two legs’. His parent club Manchester City will surely be aware, and concerned over the situation surrounding their player, especially considering his lack of development at his most recent loan clubs.
