Manchester City's players are 'increasingly convinced' Leroy Sane will complete a move to Bayern Munich, with Manchester City already lining up his replacement, according to James Ducker of the Telegraph.
It has been a well known fact for several months that Bayern Munich are showing a significant interest in the services of Manchester City and Germany winger Leroy Sane. In fact, if it wasn't for an injury to the 23-year-old in August, it is thought a move would have been completed.
According to the Telegraph, Leroy Sane's teammates are now 'increasingly convinced' the winger will complete a move to the Bundesliga side next calendar year, with a transfer in the summer transfer window the more likely option.
Manchester City officials are understood to already be drawing up plans to replace the 2018 PFA Young Player of the Year, with Real Sociedad winger Mikel Oyarzabal just 'one name in the frame'.
Oyarzabal is contracted to the La Liga side until 2024, and is claimed to be tied down to a €75 million release clause in his contract with the Basque club. There has also been rumours of City clinging on to a buy-back option in the clause of Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho, however his return seems very unlikely given the circumstances in which he left the club in 2017.
