Leroy Sané’s determination to move to Bayern Munich took a hit when the German champions decided against signing him in the summer, and the winger is now having second thoughts about leaving Manchester City, according to BILD.

The well-documented transfer saga raged on for a considerable chunk of the summer window, before Sané suffered an ACL injury in the Community Shield against Liverpool, keeping him out for six months - subsequently putting the Bavarians off a move.

Bayern hope to get the deal done at a cut-price fee in the summer transfer window, when the 24-year-old will have only one year left in his current deal. However, German source BILD claim that Sané is no longer sure that he even wants to leave England.

Bayern not having the faith to sign the winger due to his injury has rocked the faith that the German has with the club, and he is now no longer as certain that he would like to make the switch back to his homeland.

BILD went on to suggest that Bayern are even looking at other possible options after 'serious doubt' has crept in at the club, surrounding the transfer of Sane.
