Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden has been included in the IFFHS World Youth (U20) Team of the Year for 2020, alongside the likes of Erling Haaland and Sandro Tonali.
The 20 year-old City Football Academy graduate is enduring a standout campaign on a personal note, playing an instrumental role in the success seen by Pep Guardiola's side since November across all competitions.
Since a 2-0 defeat to Tottenham in late November, Manchester City have lost just one game across all competitions - putting them 14 points clear at the top of the Premier League table, and maintaining their quest for all four trophies as we enter a hectic April fixture list.
For Phil Foden, this has been a campaign to remember. Along with memorable individual performances at Stamford Bridge, Anfield, and the Emirates Stadium, the Stockport-born playmaker has registered 20 goal contributions across all competitions - 11 goals and nine assists.
Just recently, football statistics website CIES named Foden as the most valuable player in the Manchester City squad at present - with a market value in the region of €120 million and €150 million.
The full 2020 IFFHS World Youth Team of the Year (U20) was as follows:
