Italian side A.C. Milan are considering a move to bring Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola in as their next manager, according to Mundo Deportivo as relayed by Sport Witness.

Mundo Deportivo reported on Saturday that the San Siro side are 'thinking' of offering Pep Guardiola the managerial job, in a renaissance bid after a hugely disappointing decade. I Rossoneri haven't won a major trophy since 2011, in which time they've gone through no fewer than TEN different managers.

Guardiola's contract at Manchester City runs until the end of the 2020/21 season and he has stated that he intends to see it out, meaning Milan would need to content themselves with another manager until the Catalan becomes available - if he wants the job at all.

Current Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has been in charge at the San Siro for under a fortnight, since his October 9th appointment, and is on a two-year deal. His side currently sit 13th in the Serie A table, having scored an abysmal six goals in seven games.
