German newspaper BILD claim that Manchester City are one of several major European clubsinterested in rising Rapid Wien forward, Yusuf Demir.

Joining Manchester City on the interested list are Manchester United, Juventus, Barcelona, and Borussia Dortmund. According to the translated report by Sport Witness, these clubs have ‘not lost sight’ of Demir, who has ‘exceptional footballing skills’.

The Austrian has broken into the Rapid first team at the young age of 17 years-old, making 17 league appearances this season, scoring three goals in that spell.

Unsurprisingly, the young forward is impressing many including legendary Austrian football star Toni Polster. “Yusuf Demir is only 17 years old, but you can already see the incredible potential in him,” said Polster in speaking to BILD.

Demir is valued at €5 million, however if a big club comes calling for one of the premier young talents in Europe, you could likely see that price double. And for Manchester City, Demir would likely join the ranks of fellow young talents in the City Football Group system.

The CFG are constantly monitoring some of the brightest young talents across the globe, with a move for promising Brazilian striker Kayky reportedly just months away from completion.
