Manchester City are among four Premier League clubs showing an interest in Red Bull Salzburg's latest stand-out striker talent, Patson Daka, according to the latest reports to emerge from Austria.
The 22 year-old is enduring a remarkable campaign in front of goal for the Austrian Bundesliga leaders, scoring 27 goals and providing eight assists in just 31 games across all competitions thus far.
Unsurprisingly, this has caught the attention of some of Europe's biggest clubs, particularly those from the English top-flight.
According to Salzburger Nachrichten, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Manchester United are all interested in Patson Daka, with the striker currently valued at just €20 million.
However, should he continue to maintain this outstanding run of form until the end of the season, then one can expect RB Salzburg to demand a much greater fee given the potential of Zambian international.
In late October, it was claimed by sources in England that Manchester City scouts were 'keeping a close eye' and 'regularly checking' on Daka, while also providing detailed reports on the player. This now certainly appears to be the case given the aforementioned report emerging from Austria itself on Monday.
Salzburg are no strangers to developing up and coming strikers and bringing them to prominence in the European game. It must be noted that it wasn't too long ago that a certain Erling Braut Haaland was scoring goals for fun for the Austrian side, which has ultimately lead to the Norwegian striker being the most in-demand forward in Europe.
