Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested in signing Eric Garcia in January. However, the Manchester City youngster has his 'heart set' on moving back to his boyhood club, FC Barcelona.
According to Mundo Deportivo, PSG are preparing to compete against Barcelona to sign Eric Gracia during the current transfer window. The La Liga side have an added advantage as Garcia is determined to play for Barcelona, and it is the 'only thing' on his mind.
It appears that 'everything' about Garcia's move to Barcelona is 'agreed and sealed'. Previous reports also stated that both parties have come to an agreement regarding the personal terms of this transfer.
That said, Manchester City still want €10M for the player in order to sanction a potential move this month. The English side wants €5M for the player upfront and €5M in add-ons. It is important to note that this demand from Manchester City is a big reason why Barcelona are considering their chances to sign Garcia for free in Summer.
PSG, on the other hand, are willing to pay the amount as they are keen on signing the defender immediately. As for Barcelona, the Spanish giants won't make a move for Garcia unless all the Presidential candidates are in favour of paying Man City's asking price in the next ten days.
