Independiente club president Hugo Moyano spoke with Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero yesterday regarding the possibility of a return to Argentine for the legendary forward, according to the latest information.
The 32 year-old forward is currently in the process of speaking to a number of potential suitors from across Europe, but it seems as though a number of Argentine clubs including the place where it all started for the Premier League striker, are also monitoring the situation with keen interest.
According to the information of journalist Lucas Scagliola, the president of Independiente Hugo Moyano spoke directly with Sergio Aguero yesterday. However, it is understood that Aguero told Moyano that he wants to remain playing in Europe for a 'while longer'.
From an Independiente fans' point of view, there is some element of excitement that can be drawn from Scagliola's information, as it was reaffirmed that a move back to Argentina could take place after the Qatar World Cup.
As a sign of respect from Sergio Aguero, the Manchester City forward 'thanked' the Independiente official for his interest and for taking the time to contact him directly.
In terms of other clubs interested in the player, it is known that Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, and Inter could all be lining up a move for Aguero this summer - with the latter believed to be an attractive option to Sergio Aguero's immediate circle.
