Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has opened up about the club’s stance on the transfer saga regarding star striker Erling Haaland.

Europe’s top clubs have been circling around the Borussia Dortmund striker for weeks, even months, in anticipation for the 20year-olds possible exit from the German club this summer.

Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United are all reported to be enquiring about the Norwegian phenom.

However, recent reports have suggested that Borussia Dortmund could be set to value Erling Haaland in the region of between €150 million and €180 million, plus staggering agent fees that some outlets claim could amount to nearly another €60 million.

While many believe the club have a great incentive to sell their star striker this summer due to a release clause of €75 million that is set to kick in next summer, Borussia Dortmund's sporting director Michael Zorc has made his stance very clear on the idea of selling his star forward this summer.

“I currently don’t see any need to set any deadlines" said Zorc, as relayed by Inside Futbol.

He continued, “We have a clear stance towards Erling Haaland, which we have communicated to everyone involved.”

If last summer’s transfer saga involving current Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho and potential buyers Manchester United is anything to base his stance off of, the Bundesliga club could stand very firm in their valuation of the striker.

There is a strong likelihood that Dortmund and their key decision makers could potentially not settle for anything less than the staggering figures which are currently being suggested.
