Jason Kreis, the first manager of MLS expansion side New York City FC, is currently in Manchester, England, soaking in all he can from club part-owner Manchester City in the build-up to NYC FC's 2015 inaugural season.

Kreis sat down with Manchester City TV for a lengthy interview this week. During a preview clip a couple of days ago, he revealed that he'll be able to take four players on loan from Manchester City when the team starts MLS play in 2015. He expanded on the kind of players he'll target for that aspect of his roster.

"I'm looking a lot at the younger players, the U-21s, the U-18s at the moment and also the players that are out on loan," Kreis said. "We have a very big interest in bringing some City players over to join us in New York."

Kreis also touched on tapping into the New York fanbase, his experience in Manchester, working with the Man City brass and how he'll bring the Man City philosophy and methodology to New York.
