Yevhen Konoplyanka, Roman Zozulya, Andriy Yarmolenko and Anatoliy Tymoshchuk will be part of Ukraine's squad when the national side that came up just short of qualifying for the World Cup plays the U.S. men's national team on March 5.

Konoplyanka, FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk's 24-year-old star winger and a Liverpool transfer target this winter; Zozulya, Konoplyanka's 24-year-old club teammate and prolific forward; and Yarmolenko, another 24-year-old winger making headway in Europe, headline manager Mykhaylo Fomenko's top-choice roster along with their more experienced counterparts. The 34-year-old Tymoshchuk, Ukraine's all-time caps leader with 131, was on the bench at the start of Zenit's Champions League encounter with Dortmund on Tuesday before coming on as an early first-half substitute.

At 18th in the latest FIFA rankings, Ukraine is the highest-ranked team in the world to miss out on qualifying for Brazil. It held a 2-0 lead over France after the first leg of their UEFA qualifying playoff series only to fall 3-0 in the road leg and miss out on the World Cup.

The match against the USA is slated to be played in Cyprus, according to the Ukraine federation, with violent political unrest encompassing Ukraine and creating an unsafe atmosphere. The U.S. is 0-2-1 against Ukraine all-time, with the last meeting between the two coming in 1993.

Here is the Ukraine roster, per it's official federation website, in full:
