Manchester City's much-needed result was well in hand, with a rout of Aston Villa that would shoot the club to pole position in the EPL title race all but sealed. That didn't stop Yaya Toure from turning on the afterburners in stoppage time and providing a lasting highlight that punctuated an already fantastic individual season.

Toure completed a run that began in his own half of the field, abused Aston Villa defenders with his speed and power and fired home past American goalkeeper Brad Guzan for Man City's fourth and final goal in a 4-0 win at Etihad Stadium. In doing so, he secured a 20-goal season for himself and put the finishing touches on what looks to be the penultimate step to City's second league championship in three years.

Man City needs just a home draw against West Ham to secure the title, taking full advantage of Liverpool's colossal slip-up against Crystal Palace on Monday. Should City lose to West Ham, Liverpool could seize the title in dramatic fashion with a win over Newcastle. All 10 Premier League finales will be played simultaneously on Sunday, and all will be broadcast across NBC's channels.

In the meantime, enjoy Toure's moment of brilliance below:
