The current MLS collective bargaining agreement was extended by a week on Thursday as MLS and its players union try to hammer out a new deal. The extension now gives the sides until February 7th to come to an agreement. With the 2020 season set to kick off on February 29th, the league is inching closer and closer to not having a CBA in place in time for the start of the season.
