Dell Loy Hanson has informed Major League Soccer of his intention to sell Utah Soccer Holdings, the entity that Real Salt Lake, Utah Royals FC, and Real Monarchs. The announcement comes as Hanson is under investigation for a history of racist remarks while at the helm of the organization, including his insensitive remarks in regards to MLS players choosing not to play Wednesday in solidarity with players across multiple leagues in response to the shooting by police of Jacob Blake, a Black man.
