Red Bull Crashed Ice, which began in March 2001, is a world tour event in which racers (typically former ice hockey players) descend a steep ice canal filled with bumps, jumps, and rollers and obstacles four at a time, jostling for position as they reach speeds of up to 45 mph. This year's season opener was held on Nov. 27 and 28, in Quebec City, Canada.
