7:00 p.m. On ESPN: 2017 College Football Playoff
National Championship: Alabama vs. Clemson (01/09/2017)

This was college football's first national championship rematch and it was a fitting sequel to the original matchup but it sure did have an unusual twist. The Clemson Tigers beat the Alabama Crimson Tide 35 - 31.

8:00 p.m on FS1: Seattle Seahawks at Dallas Cowboys (Emmitt Smith breaks Walter Payton’s rushing record, 10/27/2002)

What a rush this game was! Dallas Cowboys running back Emmitt Smith saw a hole against the Seattle Seahawks and plunged ahead for the yardage he needed to break the record. With an 11 yard gain during one of the plays Smith passed Walter Payton for the most All-Time NFL rushing yards. 

8:00 p.m on MLB Network: Game 5: New York Yankees at Boston Red Sox (10/18/2004)

The Yankees had the lead 4-2 but Boston was not giving up. David Ortiz stepped up to the plate and got the momentum the Red Sox needed. The Boston Red Sox defeated the New York Yankees 5-4.
