UNC completes hazing investigation; student court to decide on charges

Thursday September 11th, 2014

The University of North Carolina has completed its investigation into an alleged hazing incident involving members of the football team, the school announced Thursday

The school says the case is now in the hands of the Student Attorney General, who will make the decision whether or not to pursue charges in the student Honor Court.

Charge dropped against Texas A&M receiver Ricky Seals-Jones

The statement from the school does not give any details about the nature of the alleged incident or the students involved.

Yahoo Sports reported last month that a hazing incident involving members of the football team escalated into a "group assault."

Four UNC players were suspended for the season opener for an unspecified violation of team rules.
