Florida State will wear helmet decals supporting shooting victims

Friday November 21st, 2014

Florida State will show support for the victims of the recent on-campus shooting by wearing a ribbon decal on its helmets for Saturday's game against Boston College, the team announced Friday

Three students were wounded when a gunman opened fire in a library early Thursday morning. The shooter, later identified as an FSU alumnus, was killed by police.

FSU athletic director Stan Wilcox said Thursday that all athletic events scheduled for this weekend would proceed as scheduled.

The Seminoles, ranked third in the most recent College Football Playoff rankings, are 10-0 this season. Saturday's game against BC is scheduled for 3:30.
