It's seems that everyone with a social media account has taken part in the Ice Bucket Challenge. NHLers have tried to one-up their brethren, going so far as to dump glacier water on themselves on a mountaintop with a helicopter. At this point, we could start claiming that the ALS awareness trend has even jumped the Sharks.

Paul Bissonnette takes Ice Bucket Challenge to new heights

Alex Ovechkin, the NHL's reigning goal scoring champ finally got in on the action on Wednesday. What made his stand out wasn't so much his actual ice dump, which was pretty run-of-the-mill, but his choice of individuals to call out:

Fellow Russian hockey players Evgeni Malkin, Sergei Bobrovsky and Alexander Radulov are understandable people for Ovechkin to challenge… but Eminem? As Don Cherry would say, it's an enigmatic choice.
