120 Sports has announced the hiring of Abby Hornacek, daughter of Knicks new coach Jeff Hornacek, as the latest member of its on-air talent roster on Wednesday.

Hornacek will serve as co-host of The Rally, a Twitter-based nightly highlight show, as well as anchoring clips on breaking news for the digital-first video network, of which Sports Illustrated is a partial equity owner.

120 Sports executive producer Joe Riley welcomed the new hire aboard adding, “Her passion for sports and digital media makes her the perfect fit for our talent team as we continue to grow our audience and expand our network’s reach.”

Hornacek’s father was brought on as New York’s new coach in May after Derek Fisher was fired mid-season and replaced by interim coach Kurt Rambis.

The former Jazz star has previously served as an assistant in Utah before spending two and a half seasons as the head coach of the Suns where he put together a 101-112 record.
