The Dallas Mavericks revoked the credentials of ESPN’s Marc Stein and Tim MacMahon for this weekend’s games at American Airlines Center, Sports Illustrated’s Richard Deitsch confirmed on Sunday night.

Mavs reporter Art Garcia and SB Nation’s Tim Cato first reported the news.

The team did not credential Stein and McMahon for Friday’s loss to the Trail Blazers or Sunday’s overtime win over the Bucks, and it is unclear whether or not they will be held out for the team’s next home game on Nov. 18. The two have covered the Mavericks in Dallas for some time, but both have taken on more national roles and have spent less time on the Mavs beat.

According to a report posted on ESPN.com, team owner Mark Cuban “said he was unhappy the network would not have a full-time reporter on the team.”

“We’re committed to thoroughly covering the Mavs and the NBA,” ESPN said in a statement.

SI reached out to Cuban, who declined to comment.
