Full Swing Golf, one of the leaders in indoor golf technology, announced on Tuesday plans for a new golf simulator, the S2.
According to the company, which also partnered with Under Armour earlier this Spring, the product is the first-of-its-kind at the $19,900 price point, allowing consumers a more affordable option to experience the sport at their home, office or local golf course.
“The S2 simulator is the first of its kind to be a DIY installation at the lowest cost of ownership, allowing more families, businesses and golf courses, the ability to own a simulator,” Full Swing Golf CEO Ryan Dotters said in a statement.
High speed camera and infrared light wave technology combine to produce realistic ball tracking data as users virtually compete at 87 courses from around the world. Golfers can just practice their chip shot or participate in Long Drive and Closest to the Pin contests with their friends while controlling the entire experience through a touchscreen laptop.
“At Full Swing, we strive to constantly develop the highest quality, best performing golf simulation technology in the world and the S2 series delivers this at the best value for the price,” said Senior Vice President, Jason Fierro.
Newest Full Golf Swing global ambassador, Smylie Kaufman, will be the first golf endorser to use the S2’s self-installation model. Other ambassadors include PGA TOUR players Jordan Spieth, Tiger Woods, Padraig Harrington, Patrick Reed, Bill Haas and Hunter Mahan.
