Seven-time champion Rafael Nadal outlasted Novak Djokovic 6-4, 3-6, 6-1, 6-7 (3), 9-7 in the semifinals of the French Open on Friday.

The match lasted four hours and 37 minutes as the rivals met expectations in a clash that was highly anticipated the moment the draw was released two weeks ago.

Nadal, playing only his second five-set match at Roland Garros, advanced to Sunday's final and ended Djokovic's bid for his first French Open title.

Here's a sampling of the Twitter reaction from current and former pros to Nadal's victory.
