It stands to reason that if you practice regularly with one of the greatest shot-makers of all time, some of his vision, creativity and magic is bound to rub off on you.

That seems to be the case for Stanislas Wawrinka, who solidified his position as the No. 1 Swiss with a 4-6, 7-6 (5), 6-2 win over Roger Federer in the final of the Monte Carlo Masters and hit one shot that's destined for the year-end highlight reel.

In the first set, Wawrinka hit a fantastic overhead backhand for a winner off a tricky lob from Federer. The lob actually looked to be sailing wide, but Wawrinka didn't take any chances, hitting a well-placed short-angle winner with his back to the net.

We've seen that overhead backhand snapped down for a winner by the likes of Federer, Andy Murray and Rafael Nadal, but the touch Wawrinka offered here was creativity and execution at its finest.
