Pearland has looked like the best team in the region as it has beaten Arkansas 14-2, Mississippi 6-4 and then whipped its state counterpart, Abilene, 19-0 in the semifinals. It has been a dominating run, but it still has one more game to win.
Tulsa got off to a good start in the regional beating Colorado 10-0 in the first game, but it lost its second game to Abilene 3-2. It then had to win three elimination games against Arkansas, Mississippi and a rematch against Abilene. It passed all three tests and now gets its toughest game yet as it looks to pull off the upset.
