Kentucky got a win in the first game when it scored three runs in the top of the sixth and then held off an Ohio rally to get the victory. Kentucky, though, was shut down in its second game when it lost to Indiana 3-1. Kentucky gave up three runs in the top of the first and could never recover in the defeat.
Ohio will look to avenge its loss to Kentucky and send them home on Wednesday. Ohio bounced back on Monday getting a big 8-6 win over Michigan in an elimination game. It trailed going into the bottom of the fourth but scored five runs to take home the win.
