Iowa opened up tournament play with a big 10-3 win over Kansas. It followed that up with a close 3-2 win over Wisconsin on Sunday to make the winner's bracket finals. Unfortunately, its luck ran out on Wednesday when it lost 3-1 to Missouri. Now it must beat North Dakota to get another chance at Missouri.

North Dakota won its first game over Minnesota 5-2, but lost its second game 17-7 to Missouri. The team from North Dakota led 6-5 heading into the bottom of the fourth, but gave up 10 runs in that inning and could never recover. It did bounce back on Monday to get a 10-6 win over Kansas and then won another elimination game on Tuesday when it beat Minnesota 12-3 for a second time.
