The two teams played in the first round of the tournament with Nevada picking up a 4-2 win. Nevada scored four runs in the bottom of the fourth and held on for the opening-game victory. Thursday, Montana will get another chance at the team from Nevada, but this time it is a win-or-go-home game. The two teams will play live from Al Houghton Stadium in San Bernardino, California.

Nevada picked up that big first win against Montana in the first round but gave up a 4-2 lead to Utah in its second game on Tuesday. It would give up two runs in the fifth and one more in the bottom of the sixth to take a 5-4 loss. Thursday, it will look to bounce back as it looks to get another shot at the team from Utah in the championship on Friday.
Montana, though, is looking to keep that from happening as it tries to avenge its earlier loss. It was able to stay alive on Monday when it scored six runs in the first and ran away with an 11-0 run-rule win against Wyoming.
