How to Watch Rider vs. Stetson in College Basketball: Stream Live, TV Channel

The Rider Broncos and Stetson Hatters tip-off the MAAC-Atlantic Sun Dublin Challenge at Ireland's National Basketball Arena on Friday.

College basketball is back on the Emerald Isle for the first time since 2018, as Dublin hosts the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference/Atlantic Sun Conference Challenge at National Basketball Arena. The first game on Friday features Rider (1-1) from the MAAC and Stetson (2-0) from the A-Sun. The Hatters are in their fourth season under coach Donnie Jones and are 41-51 in that span, reaching the CBI semifinal in 2021. Kevin Baggett has coached the Broncs since 2012, leading the club to a 162-153 record. Rider last reached the postseason in the 2018 NIT. The Broncos haven't been to the NCAA tourney since 1994, while Stetson has never been selected.

Stetson has opened with a pair of road wins against in-state foes, getting a 68-67 win at South Florida on Monday. The Hatters led by eight points with 4:17 remaining, before surviving two missed shots by USF in the final 10 seconds, including a dunk attempt. Luke Brown came off the bench to score 20 points for Stetson and Shephan Swenson added 15 points.

Rider bounced back from a heartbreaker at Penn State in its opener to beat The College of New Jersey 87-50 on Saturday. Dwight Murray Jr. paced the Broncos with 17 points and Allen Powell added 14 points.

This is the second meeting between the programs. Rider grabbed a 69-67 win at Stetson on Dec. 29, 1993.
