Norchad Omier is averaging 13.7 points and 9.7 rebounds per game for the Hurricanes, Jordan Miller scored 13.8 per game and Isaiah Wong checks in at 13.3 points. The Big Red, which has won seven in a row, gets 13.3 points per game from Greg Dolan. Jim Larrañaga has coached at Miami since 2011 and is 234-142, leading the team to the Elite Eight last spring. Brian Earl is in his sixth season at Cornell and is 64-85.

The Hurricanes opened their Atlantic Coast Conference schedule on Sunday at Louisville and dismantled the winless Cardinals 80-53. Miller scored 14 points, Omier added 12 and Wong dropped in 10, with none of the starters logging more than 24 minutes.
Cornell trailed visiting Lafayette by six with 4:08 to play before closing the game with 11 straight points. Dolan hit one of two from the line with 1:08 left to put the Big Red in front and the team cashed in four straight foul shots down the stretch to ice a 73-68 victory. Dolan, Nazir Williams and Chris Manon scored 12 points apiece for Cornell.
Wednesday's game is just the second meeting between the programs, with Miami winning 94-74 in Coral Gables on Dec. 27, 1962.
