Missouri is looking to break out of this five-game losing streak that is starting to define the Tigers' season. Before this streak, Missouri was 14-2 with a perfect 3-0 conference record. In those five losses, four of them have not been all that close. The Tigers will look for a spark today as they are on the road facing Kentucky. The Wildcats have been struggling also and have a losing record at home and a 1-7 record overall in the SEC. Missouri lost to Georgia in its last game 62-51. The Tigers only struggled in one quarter scoring five in the second but kept pace the rest of the way. Missouri went 1-15 shooting in the second quarter. That was enough though for the Bulldogs to get the win. Hayley Frank led the Tigers in scoring in back-to-back games for Missouri netting 13 points.

Missouri was down by as much as 15 but a late 10-0 run got the Tigers within five. That would be the closest Missouri got though.
Kentucky is coming off two tough losses by a combined four points. Most recently the Wildcats lost to Auburn 71-68. Robyn Benton led the club with 19 points. The biggest problem for Kentucky on the night was turnovers. Kentucky's 20 turnovers led to 32 points for the Tigers compared to 18 points the Wildcats scored off Auburn turnovers. If Kentucky can buckle down with ball security, they'll have a great chance of defending home court.
