The team is traveling from New York to West Long Beach, New Jersey, and into the OceanFirst Bank Center to take on Monmouth. The Aggies are 12-15 overall this season and 7-7 in conference play as the Colonial Athletic Association heats up. They lost their first of the three-game trip to Stony Brook on Saturday 69-59 so they will be looking to bounce back from that. They took down Elon before that 66-61. Kam Woods, a stellar guard, leads the team in scoring with 17.5 points per game. He also contributes the most assists at 3.4 per game on an averaging 35.2 minutes per night.

The Hawks are just 5-21 overall this season and are 4-9 against conference opponents. They are tied in the conference with Northeastern and William and Mary and only Hampton is worse at 3-10.
After starting the season at 2-20, Monmouth put together three wins since February started beating Delaware, Drexel, and Stony Brook in back-to-back games. Unfortunately, that streak was broken in their last game against Hofstra.
