Virginia, on the other hand, has lost two straight games to fall to 2-3 on the year but is undefeated at home with a perfect 2-0 record. Last season, Virginia mounted a huge fourth-quarter comeback to earn a 34-33 victory over Louisville.

Last week, Virginia’s self-inflicted wounds were too much to overcome as it fell to ACC rival Duke by a final score of 38-17. The Blue Devils built a huge first-half lead after blocking a punt, recovering a fumble on a kick return and capitalizing on Virginia’s penalties to build a 28-7 lead. Fifth-year senior Brennan Armstrong was 19-for-37 for 202 passing yards and two touchdowns in the loss.
As for Louisville, the Cardinals came up short on the road against Boston College when the Eagles made a 26-yard field goal with just under two minutes to earn a 34-33 victory. Louisville had a chance to take the lead back late in the game, but the Eagles' defense forced four straight incompletions to seal the win.
Virginia looks to stay perfect at home when it hosts Louisville at Scott Stadium on Saturday.
