The Knights were victorious in matchups against Florida Atlantic, Georgia Tech and SMU in recent weeks. Temple, on the other hand, is winless on the road in two attempts and is 2-3 overall after a loss last week. In 2021, UCF cruised to a 49-7 victory over Temple on the road at Lincoln Financial Field.

Behind a convincing second-half surge, the Knights earned a 41-19 blowout victory over SMU last Wednesday night at FBC Mortgage Stadium. After trailing 13-10 at halftime, UCF outscored the Mustangs 31-6 in the second half. UCF recorded 204 yards of offense in the third quarter alone to take command of the game.

As for Temple, the Owls lost their conference opener in a disappointing 24-3 defeat against Memphis. Memphis quarterback Seth Henigan threw for 195 yards and rushed for another 60 yards, as the Temple defense struggled to slow down the Tigers running game.
